Putin and Lukashenko take part in Supreme State Council meeting in Minsk

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko are participating in a meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State in Belarus. They are scheduled to discuss prospects for further integration and cooperation, issues related to forming a single electricity market, unified rules for consumer protection, and tariffs for communication services. The two leaders are also expected to focus on strengthening the common defenses of the Union State of Russia and Belarus.
