Look, I have no idea why I keep doing this, but actually I do. Because I want to see good stuff in more resolution and 8 times longer. Here’s Alien: Romulus in super 8X slo-mo and 4K. Upscale and interpolation done using AI tools (Topaz) Looks like they went with more closed spaces compared to the last two movies, which I loved by the way. Alien movies, especially later ones fall into a category of movies that the word “generic“ does not stick to. I love that in addition to great horror and effects, Ridley Scott alien movies dive deeper and explore serious philosophical themes.
