A HAND OF TIME (Official Video)

A short music film by Maksym Deliiergiiev based on the music of Ukrainian electronic composer Andrey Kiritchenko. () The story is about a hero (Anatoliy Sachivko) who willy-nilly finds himself in a hopeless situation and tries to find a way out of it. This is a work with social implications, filmed in a documentary style in a real environment without excessive embellishment. All locations in the film are real places in Kyiv where friends and acquaintances of the director live. The director in collaboration with the composer conceived this work as a reflection on the time we’re all now living in. The world is full of waste, trash, plastic, and society which is drowning in an endless stream of information. It’s not a cry from the heart and not a call to radical measures, it’s an attempt of philosophical dialog, an attempt to show his attitude to global and private problems as well as an attempt to combine experimental music with experimental video.
