Caught up with Frank Turner who was kind enough to donate some of his time to let me film him performing any song of his choice. He chose “Yellow Bike“ by @Pedro The Lion. As always, shot in 1 take with 1 microphone. He had this to say about this song he chose to perform for Shibby Pics: “This is a cover of a song called “Yellow Bike“ by a songwriter called David Bazan, who goes under the name Pedro the Lion, and he’s one of my joint favorite songwriters. I’ve been working on a new record that’s going to be out next year. And he did a record called “Phoenix“ a couple of years ago, and the kind of raw honesty and nostalgia of the lyrics was really quite something for me, inspirationally speaking.
