In grateful memory to Gary Brooker (1945 - 2022) Procol Harum and The Danish Radio Orchestra, conducted by David Firman Vejle Musikteater, 21 January 2011 Line up: Gary Brooker - voc, piano Geoff Whitehorn - guitar Matt Pegg - bass, voc Josh Phillips - organ Geoff Dunn - drums “The Emperor’s New Clothes“ originally was released on Procol’s album THE WELLS ON FIRE (2003). Like “Barnyard Story“, this song only saw a small number of live performances. Twenty in total according to Peter Christian’s fantastic PROCOL HARUM GIG FINDER () The orchestral version only was played on the 2011 eight dates Denmark tour. This seems to be the only document available for the public. Unfortunately the ultra-bright Danish spots went way beyond what my camera could handle ... This video is from the sixth concert of the eight dates danish tour with the DR Orchestra.
