Inventions. Location of events unknown. M/S inventor Edwin Solomon dipping plates into his machine, then taking them out and putting them on the side. M/S Professor A.M. Low in his garden, he hangs a small packet of DDT on a tree and lights the fuse with a match before walking away. M/S as it smoulders and then makes small explosion, this is designed to get rid of insects. M/S Edwin still washing plates, it shows the jets of water in the machine cleaning the crockery and swilling it off. C/U of Professor Low cutting grass with his invention which is a cross between a rake and a scythe. He picks up rake and starts to undo screw before taking out razor blades. C/U of Edwin washing plates and a milk bottle. Interior M/S of Professor Low with cigarette in his mouth, he lights it and puts lighter into his pocket. M/S as he presses a button on a model tank which fires out cigarettes. M/S Edwin washing a glass jug. M/S as Low takes off his spectacles and replaces them with very small unbreakable
