2021 Kiev a solemn farewell of a Waffen SS veteran with the Presidential Regiment of the AFU

2021 June 13 in Kyiv, in the St. Michael’s Cathedral, a solemn farewell ceremony was held for the Nazi collaborator, veteran of the Waffen SS “Galicia“ division and the “Baiersdorf“ group Orest Vaskul. For the first time in the history of Ukraine, the guard of honor of the Presidential Regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as activists of nationalist organizations, members of the “Reserve of the SS Division“, priests of the OCU, saw off the last journey of an SS man with state honors. Orest Vaskul was 94 years old.
