China lodged the protests after G7 countries had flagged issues, including Hong Kong, Xinjiang and Tibet, which China considers infringement on its internal affairs. The Chinese statement criticized the G7 for hindering international peace, undermining regional stability and impeding the development of other countries. China reiterated that Taiwan is an integral part of its territory.
