First Idaho Gold Nugget Found with my Metal Detector | Garrett ATX

I took my dredge out a few days earlier and wanted to do a little metal detecting. I got permission from a claim owner who lives in Atlanta Idaho to detect his claim. So I grabbed my Garrett ATX and went at it. I almost quit after 2.5 hours of no luck and it was starting to get hot, but right then I got a nice little signal in a bedrock crack and dug it out. Turned out to be a nice little .4 gram Idaho gold nugget at about 2.5 inches. First Idaho gold nugget!
