Call of Duty Warzone: NUKE EVENT - The Destruction of Verdansk Part One

Last night, Activision ran a limited-time mode called The Destruction of Verdansk Part One, which replaced all other ways to play the battle royale and lasted for just a few hours. The end scene shows the destruction of Verdansk, as you’d expect. A nuke fires off from a mystery silo and destroys the map. The Destruction of Verdansk, Part 1 began on April 21st, 2021 at 12:00 PM, PT with the addition of a new playlist to Warzone of the same name, ending at 3:00 PM, PT. The playlist featured a brand new mode that played similarly to Zombie Royale from the previous event, Haunting of Verdansk. Verdansk is past the point of no return. Attempts to contain the outbreak have failed. Going back is not an option. It’s every squad for itself in this new limited-time mode. The objective? Survive. Drop in fast - the end is near.
