Featuring many of the artists as on the first album, Shanghai Jazz 2 returns to the lively sounds of the Chinese jazz age as The Clear Wind Band performs new renditions of treasured classics. Since the Asian release of ‘Shanghai Jazz’, the music has spurred momentum in the form of live performances in Singapore, Hong Kong and China, as well as being featured in the last Merchant Ivory film, ‘The White Countess’.
