Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence - The Incredible Sequel That Deserved Better

After the release of the 1995 film, Ghost in the Shell, Mamoru Oshii took a break from the franchise for almost a decade before returning in 2004 to make a sequel bigger and bolder than its predecessor. Sadly albeit the sequel’s deep science-fiction themes and blend of 2D and 3D animation, Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence was overlooked by filmmakers for simply being animated.
