That was completely strange . We are living in an era without heroic death . There is no state of tension that living is based on dying . There are no “great causes“ . I only had a strange blank feeling bypassing emotions . Though the world was supposed to collapse , still the trees , the green around was bathing in the thick light of summer . That was completely strange . Human lives are mysterious, in that human beings are not strong enough to live and die just for themselves . It is because human beings always think of living for some kind of ideal
