Video Description: The Swedish Carl Gustaf M4 is an 84 mm man-portable recoilless rifle which is developed and produced by SAAB Bofors Dynamics. It is used to destroy armoured tanks with add-on armour protection, to neutralise landing craft and bunkers, and to clear obstacles. It is also used to engage enemies in buildings. This new anti-tank weapon was introduced at association of United States army in 2014. There are many variants today of which the first variant was introduced in 1948. The first version was one of the many recoilless rifle designs of that era. While similar weapons have generally disappeared from service, the Carl-Gustaf is still produced and in widespread usage today. All previous versions are combat proven were used in various wars, including recent military conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan, Libyan and Syrian civil wars.
