US President Biden Signs Off On More Bombs, Warplanes For Israel | Dawn News English
In a report released Friday, it has been revealed that US President Joe Biden has covertly authorized billions of dollars in new bombs and fighter jets for Israel in recent days, amidst the ongoing conflict in Gaza.
The situation in Gaza remains dire, with widespread destruction, displacement, and casualties. Despite warnings of humanitarian fallout, Israel has pledged to escalate its offensive to the southern city of Rafah, where 1.5 million displaced individuals have sought refuge.
According to anonymous sources within the State and Defense Departments speaking to the Washington Post, the approved arms include 1,800 MK84 2,000-pound bombs and 500 MK82 500-pound bombs, along with 25 F-35A fighter jets and engines, valued at around $2.5 billion.
