Short Eared Owls hunting voles

Music is Jens Buchert - Mélange Eléctrique An ongoing story - life is not easy for voles. Here Short Eared Owls are hunting them a couple of minutes walk from my front door. A pack of birders, in dSLR burst mode, were photoing them, which is what all the clicking sounds are, as well as ambient sounds of a popular walking/cycling path. One of the birders did get a vid of an owl eating a vole though I didn’t see an owl actually catch a vole, let alone eating one, though there are many attempts recorded
