The streets turned into rivers, the inhabitants were looking for safe places.
There is chaos and numerous traffic jams on the roads, many vehicles are stuck in the water.
Houses in low-lying areas were flooded up to their knees.
Underpasses were closed to traffic.
Schools and colleges were closed due to rain on Monday.
There is no information about the victims yet.
Meteorologists predict heavy rain in Gujarat over the next few days.
