Sekiro Shadows Die Twice - Sword Saint Isshin Ashina Boss Fight (Final Boss) Sword Saint, Isshin Ashina is the final boss fight in Sekiro Shadows Die Twice. He is a pretty challenging fight as you have 4 phases that you need to go through. For the first phase you just need to fight Genichiro, Way of Tomoe. You’ve fought him before, so use the same tactics as you did before. After that a cutscene will play and then you need to fight Sword Saint, Isshin Ashina. His first phase he just has a sword and is pretty easy. Just be very aggressive and build up his posture meter. For the second phase, he’ll get a long spear and this is when things get tricky. Again, you need to be very aggressive and build his posture meter up. Be careful of his spear attacks as they have huge range. For the final phase, it’s just the same as the previous but now he’ll have lightning attacks. When he does his lightning attacks, jump in the air and press R1 (Attack Button) just as the hit lands to counter it.
