Nomad - Road To Tokyo

In August 2016, the International Olympic Committee will decide if skateboarding will be included in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. To bring attention to the cause, Spanish skateboard brand Nomad created a custom skateboard torch to be skated from one skater to the next in a journey that starts in Zaragoza, Spain and ends where skateboarding becomes an Olympic sport: Tokyo. The Road to Tokyo journey is an introspective journey about the future of skateboarding through film, by Brazilian documentary filmmaker Nixon Friere to tell the story of skateboard evolution with the Olympics through the eyes of skaters who support the cause and some who don´t.
