Apocalypse in YAKUTIA | The Earth has turned to Ash

In Yakutia, as of Monday morning, 216 forest fires were detected, of which 84 fires were extinguished on an area of ​​566 thousand hectares. One fire is under special control: it came close to the village and the power plant, according to the press service of the regional ministry of ecology. According to the department, the fire with an area of ​​41.3 thousand hectares stopped just four kilometers from the village of Syuldyukar. Also, the fire potentially threatens the Svetlinskaya hydroelectric power station, despite the natural water barrier - the Vilyui River, the Ministry of Ecology noted. In total, 216 wildfires with a total area of ​​more than 1.5 million hectares are currently burning on the territory of Yakutia. More than 2 thousand people and 279 pieces of equipment are involved in extinguishing. Over the past day, they extinguished 16 fires on an area of ​​94 thousand hectares.
