Out Takes / Cuts From Cp 342 - Ski-Ing In England, Missile Firing And Roman Feast (1961)

Cuts (rushes, out takes) for stories in CP 342. The original stories are on Pathe Master tape *PM0149*. 01:07:55 to 01:12:24 cuts for story ROMAN FEAST in CP 342. Mostly similar footage to that in cut story. Several different shots of the people at the party; Sir Michael Redgrave is seen eating a bread roll - just like a normal person! He is also seen being fed some wine in a bowl by a Roman maid; then making a face as if to say “What was in that drink?!“. Various other feeding and eating shots. A Roman soldier is seen pretending to film with a movie camera (not cine camera but more professional type). A man in distinctly un-Roman trunks and swimming hat steps from the baths and holds his hands up to applause. Panning M/S of a table of Roman food, labelled thus: flamingos [sic] brains, sows udder, dormice and nightingales tongues. A hand picks up a dormouse; looks like it’s covered in bread crumbs - none of the food looks real. Some interesting, different footage. 01:12:24 to 01:18:17 cuts f
