2023 Burris Varmint Town Classic Precision Rifle Competition

One extremely average competitors perspective while competing in the 2024 Varmint Town Classic, put on by Burris Optics and High Plains Precision in Orchard, Colorado. This was my second time running this match, the first being in 2021, and it has been a blast both times. Target sizes are pretty generous, and the atmosphere was generally laid-back and fun. There is nothing really at stake at this match, it’s not part of any larger series, and the prize table is small, so it makes for a fantastic time to just come and shoot with friends for an afternoon without pressure to perform I had a fantastic time, and I can’t wait to come back next year!
