Arrests at anti-lockdown rally in Berlin as Merkel announces nationwide COVID-19 ’emergency brake’

The amendment to the existing Infection Protection Act is yet to be voted on by the German parliament. Meanwhile, protesters from the ’Querdenker’ anti-COVID movement rallied outside the German parliament. Following scuffles with police, several protesters were arrested.
