Synthesizer Sound Exploration 1 ASMR

The first video in a new periodic series where I’ll be exploring and experimenting with the sounds of a Hydrasynth synthesizer. In this video I experiment with mostly calming ambient sounds and some noise, but nothing too loud or harsh. This is the last thing I ever expected to be doing on this channel. It’s been about 15 years since I dabbled in electronic music back in my early 30’s/early 2000’s. Not being really good at it, let alone music in general, I left it all behind and chalked it up to a fun learning experience and hobby during a time when I was unsure of what to do with myself creatively. Fast forward to the date of this video and I found myself having acquired this Hydrasynth 49 key synth. I initially purchased it for off-camera cathartic hobby purposes, but have since decided to incorporate it periodically into various videos on my channel. 00:00:00 Hello! 00:00:54 Sound Exploring This Video & My Experience 00:07:14 Ribbon Controller 00:07:55 Sound Exploring 00:10:50 Arpeggiator 00:13:37 Creating a Sound from Scratch 00:15:34 WaveScan 00:17:12 Mutating the Oscillators 00:27:29 Manually Panning the Oscillators 00:28:30 Sound Exploring 00:30:57 Arpeggiator 00:34:47 Exploring Premade Patches 00:44:17 Ribbon Controller 00:45:00 Sound Exploring 00:48:16 Ribbon Controller 00:50:10 Sound Exploring 00:56:25 No Further Speaking 01:03:16 Noisy / “Windy“ Pad 01:07:31 Ribbon Controller 01:10:20 “Windy“ Pad & Fade Out Channel Playlists: Listen to select audio works outside of YouTube: Spotify ► iTunes ► Podcast Links: iTunes ► Spotify ► Amazon ► Google ► Libsyn ► RSS ► Website ► Patreon ►
