The Howling Eye - Space Dwellers, Episode 1 (Official Music Video)
💫 A sci-fi noir mystery in space. A strange transmission. A ship lost, a planet found. The Howling Eye take you on a psychedelic journey into the unknown frontier of the galaxy.
💫 Space Dwellers, Episode 1 is a single with a music video that heralds the band’s upcoming full-length album LIST DO BORYKAN. It is a mystery set in the unknown frontiers of space, inspired by Funkadelic’s futuristic epics, classic sci-fi plots and space race aesthetics. Hypnotizing riffs, infectious, trance-like groove and mellow keys stir up the feeling of suspense, while the captain tells his tale...

Lyrics:
Here’s a little story for you
This one is about me and the boys cruising around the frontiers of space
So, we were on a mission from the Galactic Comission
One of those days our ship ran out of fuel
You know, no steeling wheel working, no electronics working, everything, everything’s down, bro
That was shit
So we’re just kind of, like, floating around, we’re all on our posts, kind of just sitting there
You know, like, killing time
Just fucking feeling miserable, really
And suddenly, our ship is being pulled away by some unknown force, yo
So we get off our asses, walk up to the window, like, yonder
And then – BANG – a motherfucking planet!
Just out of nowhere!
And we’re like “Yoooo, what is happening, yo?”
We can’t do anything about it so we might as well just try to land it, you know? That’s what we did
So we enter the proximity of the fucking planet, we hear this weird music playing
All around us, you know
Like, “Yo dude, can you hear it? Yeah mate, I can hear it. Yo Johnny, can you hear it? Yeah boy, I can fucking hear it mate.”
So we’re like “Okay, it’s not in our heads, it’s from the outside.” But from where?
Mind you, we’re locked inside of a fucking tin, in the middle of fucking space, no electronics working, yo!
Odd shit, for real
Odd shit happens in space, yo, odd shit
So, anyway, we landed the spaceship and then we started, you know, walking out in our spacesuits
There are those, like, weird looking creatures, boy, like feathers on eyes on slime?
And that was odd
So we’re like “Ugh, okay, what to do?”
And they open their kind of, like, mouth… holes? And nothing changes, yo, we’re like, you know, waiting for something – nothing changes
But actually, then we realized the music has changed
So we connect the dots
We live on through jams and dance
Express your soul while you have the chance
Our hive mind within sonic waves
Reaches out through time and space
