Italy: Thousands of fans defy COVID restrix to gather around San Siro stadium for Milan derby

Thousands of fans congregated around Milan’s San Siro stadium on Sunday ahead of the game between city rivals AC Milan and Inter Milan despite COVID-19 restrictions on mass gatherings still in place in Italy. Around 7,000 AC Milan supporters were seen cheering their team bus while waving flags and lighting flares as it arrived at the stadium.
