Tobolsk | Russia! The Other Way

Head out east to Tobolsk, Siberia’s original capital for a taste of the old and the new. Start by flying into Tobolsk’s brand new airport, which is now serving several domestic destinations, with lots more to come. Join us for a visit to Sibur’s state of the art factory to see how Russia is developing some of the more far-flung regions. Andrei Belov, the plant’s Human Resources Director talks us through the selection process as we tour the production facilities and see how a large employer can contribute to the local economy in many ways (Sibur helped to fund the construction of the new airport). Then on to the Tobolsk Kremlin, which is the most easterly stone Kremlin in Russia, sitting on the bank of the Irtysh river for great views across the town.
