Kilauea Eruption & Mauna Loa Volcano Update | 30 October 2022 | Prepare for a Mauna Loa eruption!

Mauna Loa remains in state of elevated unrest. Daily earthquake swarms still plague the summit of Mauna Loa about 2-3 miles/3-5 km below Mokua’weoweo Caldera and 4-5 miles/6-8 km below the NW flank of the upper elevation of Mauna Loa. One must consider the possibility of evacuation from the northwest flank of Mauna Loa if Mauna Loa erupts. Kilauea eruption remains steady with the crater floor rising only a meter/3 feet over a 10 day period. Mauna Loa is not erupting but prepare for the possibility of an eruption. The summit remains closed to visitors until further notice. Want to see the Kilauea Eruption, here is what you will need: #Kilauea2022 #Kilaueaerupts #MaunaLoa
