Crafting a Long Leather Trucker Wallet

► GET TOOLS & MATERIALS HERE: ► GET PATTERNS HERE: Crafting a Leather Trucker Wallet We’ve had this design in the sketchbook for quite some time and finally had the time to try it out. This is a leather trucker / long style wallet with a twist - there is a single card slot sewn over the center seam of the double card slots. To do this, you’ve got to be very careful about the order of operations in putting the piece together. It’s a little tricky! We went about the construction of this leather wallet by selectively gluing partial seams, sewing, and punching in a way that would let us tuck the center seam into the card slot without having to unglue portions of the seams after to access other seams we needed to sew. Hand stitching really helps with pieces like this as you’ve got a bit of flexibility in how you maneuver the piece to get at the stitchin
