NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 16 Night 2 Review While night 1 wasn’t quite the best Wrestle Kingdom event we’ve ever seen, night 2 recaptured some of the magic from years past and opened the door up to a hopeful future. Kazuchika Okada, fresh off of winning the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship, faced an old friend and a newer enemy in the other disputed IWGP Champion Will Ospreay. Hiroshi Tanahashi would challenge KENTA for the U.S. Championship in an environment he’s not familiar with: a no disqualification match with the tallest ladder you’ll ever see in a wrestling match.
