Top 20 Aviation highlights of Year 2023 - Before uploading my full Aviation review of year 2023 which will have a length of over 2 hours I thought it would be a great idea to sum up the most interesting aviation moments of year 2023 in a single video. 20.) 00:00 One of my highlights this year was a trip to Amsterdam Schiphol where I filmed some crosswind landings during stormy weather conditions. An Airbus A300 of DHL arrived on the famous Polderbaan and did a perfect crosswind landing on runway 36R. 19.) 01:11 An Antonov An12 of Motor Sich departed from runway 24L at Liege and shortly after takeoff a propeller failed. The An12 returned to the airport only with 3 working props. 18.) 02:11 Geodis Airbus A330, a new A330 cargo airline arriving at Amsterdam during perfect light conditions 17.) 02:47 A Boeing 737 P-8 Poseidon arriving at Hannover. This was the first time I saw a P-8. 16.) 03:20 An Antonov An30 of the Romanian AF arriving at Geilenkirchen. This was this first time I caught an An30 on video. Great visitor that day. If I remember correctly they made a fuel stop on their way to the Fairford Air Show. 15.) 04:05 A Boeing 747 of National arriving during perfect evening light conditions at Maastricht. 14.) 04:59 Highlight of the year for Mönchengladbach Airport - A Dash8 of Nok Air flying all the way from Thailand to Germany to get maintenance work done. 13.) 05:57 SF Airlines Boeing 747, in my opinion one of the best looking B747` s out there. Among the standard liveries on B747` s definitly the best! 12.) 08:18 Maroc Air Force C-130 Hercules arriving at Düsseldorf Airport on a special charter flight. 11.) 09:46 KLM Boeing 777-300 in the orange pride special livery arriving at Amsterdam on the Polderbaan 10.) 10:19 Geo Sky Boeing 747-200 on its last flight to Maastricht Airport. It` s one of the last classic Boeing 747` s which visits europe frequently. 9.) 12:28 Cavok Air Antonov An12 - The classic propeller plane visited Geilenkirchen and departed ferry to Liege. The livery looks amazign! 8.) 14:47 This Airbus A330 belongs to Sky Cana which operated flights in the Dominican Republic. After the lease ended it returned to Smart Lyxn 7.) 15:24 China Eastern Boeing 777 in a special livery, arriving at Amsterdam. Sadly the sun disappeared right in team and the light conditiosn weren` t that perfect. 6.) 16:30 Far Eastern Air Transport ATR72 arriving at Mönchengladbach. The aircraft used to be based in Taiwan and it flew all the way to germany via Denmark for maintenance works. 5.) 17:48 ADB Antonov An124 arriving at Hanover after a ferry flight from Leipzig. It came to Hanover to operate a cargo charter flight to Africa. 4.) 18:40 Virgin Australia Boeing 777-300 departing at Maastricht to Enschede where the aircraft got dismantled. 3.) 19:54 Emirates Airbus A380 visiting Düsseldorf for the first time in its new colours. 2.) 20:36 Rare Antonov An26 of Vulcan Air visiting Liege during sunset. 1.) 21:20 Lufthansa Airbus A380 visiting Leipzig and saying good bye with a wing wave.
