Double Bass Ukulele Demos

The instrument I’m playing in this video is a DIY fretless acoustic ukulele bass. It’s made from an arts-and-crafts box with a screw-on neck, roundwound strings and a 3D printed nut and bridge. It’s intended to sound like a double bass, so it has a soundpost made from a pencil and a bassbar on the inside. It also has a weight that’s held in place by a magnet, allowing the soundboard to resonate lower than normal. I still need to put soundholes in to sound even bassier.
