White House decides to ‘lighten up’ mood to understand suffering of Gazans | Janta Ka Reporter

The White House on Friday invited Star Wars actor Mark Hamill to address the daily press briefing. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said that this was to lighten up the mood of journalists on the International Press Freedom Day amidst the raging Gaza conflict. This would be viewed as a deeply offensive exercise by the Joe Biden administration given that more than two million people are suffering in Gaza and that American weapons have been used by Israelis in the Gaza conflict.
