Old Knife RESTORATION - Complete Restoration without Power Tools

Welcome to another old knife restoration project. Today I will be doing complete old knife restoration without any power tools. This old knife seems like a hunting knife. After removing the rust there was a *MED markings on the blade. I tried to find out more about this old knife, but it was not very successful. I am not sure what exactly says on knife’s blade, because the stamp on the blade is partially visible. *It is quite difficult to read the stamp, but I think it says MED 14 (or maybe MED 74?). After a long search I found similar designs to this one and it seems like that this knife could be made from 1890 to 1950’s. I disassembled the knife with a bit of struggle. Then I used hand cranked grinder and sandpaper to remove rust and imperfections on the blade and other parts. Next step was funny actually, because I made a homemade lathe in no time.
