Armenia: Yerevan receives first batch of Russian Sputnik V COVID-19 vaccine

A plane carrying 15,000 doses of the Russian Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine landed at Zvartnots airport in Yerevan on Thursday. “Today we welcomed the first batch of Sputnik V vaccine in Zvartnots airport. This is the first batch comprising of 15,000 doses, which has been bought by the Republic of Armenia for vaccination of those risk groups, who are regarded as the most vulnerable,“ commented Pavel Kurochkin, counsellor of the Russian Embassy in Yerevan.
