BLAST OFF! Watch the spectacular Christmas launch of Chinese Kuaizhou-1A rocket!

LIFTOFF!: Chia launched a Kuaizhou 1A carrier rocket from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center on December 25, 2023. The rocket blasted off at 9 am (Beijing Time) from the launch site, sending Tianmu 11, 12, 13, and 14 meteorological satellites into the planned orbit. The mission marked the 23rd flight of the Kuaizhou-1A model. The satellites are mainly used to provide commercial meteorological data was China’s 63rd launch for 2023.
