The Sorting Hat (RiddleTM)

This is one of my favorite songs of all time, so I hope I’ve done it justice. For those of you who don’t know, I attend Brown University which has been around since the 1700s. It’s amazing to think of all the great intellectuals who have walked the same paths as me for hundreds of years. How much more amazing would it be to attend Hogwarts knowing that every amazing wizard and witch from Godric Gryffindor to Albus Dumbledore to Bathilda Bagshot to Harry Potter walked the same pathways to the Quidditch pitch, feasted in the same Great Hall and learned in the same DADA classroom. This video does not emphasize specific characters but instead is supposed to highlight how little Hogwarts has changed over the years. The sorting hat is both the bridge to the past and the path to the future; both a connection to the founders and a vision for the year’s to come.
