Lethal Performance 2011 Mustang GT @122mph

It was our first trip to the track with the new 624hp kit from FRPP/Whipple. We had 10’s on our agenda as we made our way to Palm Beach International Raceway. Same as always. Hot and humid FL summer weather was in the forecast. We arrive at the track and prep the car. Our driver Derek Perez of Lethal Performance took his first crack at it. The launch and shift to 2nd looked great. The car moved out real nice but Derek simply let out of the throttle and cruised the rest of the way. As he came back to the pit he said the car felt like the steering was shaking pretty bad and he got concerned so he shut it down. We cool the car and make another attempt and the same thing happens. Great launch and shifts just to be shut down before the 1/8th mile. This time Derek rolled back into the staging lanes with the car hot. He checked over the car and made another crack at it.
