Hassan Kassrioui (حسن القصريوي) is a Moroccan retired Taekwondo Kickboxer who competed at the world champion level in the 90’s.

Kassrioui began playing sports at the age of seven. Kassriui was born in Algeria: his parents owned a farm. Kassrioui was the youngest of the children. Due to the deterioration of relations between Morocco and Algeria, the family was forced to move to their country, Morocco. About 120 km from
a new farm is being built in the capital Rabat, in the town of Sidi Kasem. At the age of eight, Kassrioui missed school a lot to go in for sports. He had already watched Bruce Lee films and found karate as an exciting sport. From the age of 12, Kassrioui went to the market every week to take part in boxing fights that took place there. In 1982, Kassrioui met his cousin in Tangier, who was a professional boxer in Spain. He advised him to practice taekwondo. Kassrioui applied to the local taekwondo sports school in 1983. His coach, Ba Ami Mo, very soon realized that the financial situation of his student was not sufficient to pay the fee. So he began to train and get out.
He got his taekwondo suit from a good friend. In 1985, Kassrioui participated in the Moroccan Championships, where he finished third and stood out immediately. A year later, he was the second.
1987 was a difficult year for Kassrioui because his trainer died and the gym was destroyed. Then Kassrioui had to train on his own.
Then he was invited to visit Sitangym in the Netherlands. Kassrioui fought against all and always admired, and he gradually won a good name in the world of Thais and kickboxing.
The most spectacular event of Kassrioui was that during the open-air tournament in Austria against the 4th number in Thailand, Pepsi. Kassrioui fought for the first time against the Thai on the Thai rules, with elbows to the head. Kassrioui won this points match. Since then, Kassriui was unstoppable with a punch.
