Metallica’s Kirk Hammett (guitar) and Robert Trujillo (bass)--as well as Ugly Kid Joe’s Whitfield Crane (vocals), Queens of the Stone Age’s Jon Theodore (drums), Death Angel’s Mark Osegueda (vocals), and Bad Wolves’ Doc Coyle (guitar)--perform as The Wedding Band and play a cover of the Black Sabbath song “Heaven And Hell“ live in concert before a sold-out crowd at The Fillmore in San Francisco, California on December 17, 2021. Heaven And Hell appeared as the title track of Black Sabbath’s ninth studio album in 1980. Rob Trujillo has his own Black Sabbath connection; he played bass in Ozzy Osbourne’s band for several years starting in the late 1990s. Osbourne was the original lead singer of Black Sabbath. This show at The Fillmore as the Wedding Band was part of Metallica’s “San Francisco Takeover” in December celebrating the band’s 40th anniversary.
