I am a forest fire and I am the fire and I am the forest and I am a witness watching it . . . *not a ship edit* my two favorite television characters of all time my two californians who were completely misunderstood by their showrunners, used mostly as plot devices, and unnecessarily k*lled off in their s3 finales just when they started to get their shit together I started to realize how many parallels they had this week (parents who failed them in different ways, substance abuse issues, self-destructive tendencies, general teen angst, worn down by the world, etc) and this edit happened in about 2 hours. feels very personal but maybe someone else will enjoy it or at least find it interesting? god I just wanted them to LIVE, to get out of hawkins/newport, to grow, to learn from their mistakes, to have a damn chance...
