the heymacs - Love Me Two Times

For the band’s 17th outing, they didn’t get too fancy (mainly ’cuz they had to shoot this puppy themselves . . kinda difficult getting techs to leave the bunker during the pandemic . . who knew!) And, rather than trying to cook up a cookie-cutter copy of this classic blues-rocker by The Doors, the approach was to jam out on it whilst trying to keep it “Doors-ish“ . . some lady friends of the heymacs said it “pushed the right buttons“, so . . mission accomplished, eh ! ( . . in these times when nobody carries cash, just credit and debit, Macky avoids disappointing our friends living on the streets by making it a habit to always carry a few loonies or twoonies in his pocket . . just a thought! )
