Biden was speaking to reporters at the White House on Monday. According to a Reuters report Qatari mediators have been leading negotiations that could potentially lead to the release of 50 hostages, taken during a deadly attack on Israel by Hamas last month, in exchange for a three-day ceasefire and further aid for Gaza. Meanwhile, Israeli troops say they have located a “rocket-making workshop“ inside a mosque in Gaza City.
