Simple 16 inch block quilt using only 2 1/2 inch STRIPS! 7th in our series to use leftover strips!

Seventh project in a series using 2 1/2 inch strips to make scrappy quilts! Stay to the end to see finished quilt which includes the pieced backing! There is also an update on the scrap bucket situation and how that is looking! I’ve challenged myself to do a new project each month using only 2 1/2 inch strips from my scrap buckets. I have always saved leftover strips from projects and cut up small leftover fabric from yardage into 2 1/2 inch strips and put them in a bucket for some “future“ project . The future is now! It is time to tame the scrap bucket and use up these strips. I’ll always have a scrap bucket of strips because I’m constantly adding to it but I want to get it down to just ONE bucket instead of that seven after the “GREAT SORTING“! This series will last until I’m down to one bucket. Let’s be honest, it will take at least 2 years to use up enough strips to make a difference!
