Rock am ring The video was subjected to deep frame-by-frame restoration: deinterlacing, removal of MPEG2 compression artifacts, removal of the TV channel logo, elimination of “noise“, color correction to the standard, global color correction of all material, frame-by-frame adaptive image enhancement to 1920x1080. the resulting material is packed with AVC x264 codec with maximum quality settings and original frame rate. Added similarity to Intro and end credits. The audio track obtained from the CD rip was subjected to quantization frequency change and dynamic and frequency processing. DTS 4.1 multichannel track was made. Everything is collected in an MKV container. This is not a simple upscale, it is the result of a rather long and painstaking restoration. Only the restoration of the video itself took 19 days. The source material was VERY noisy and overflowing with MPEG compression artifacts due to merciless compression. In general, the video is now more suitable for viewing large screens, but of course this is not a full-fledged Full HD! Difference from the version broadcast on the WDR channel 1.
