It’s incredible to think that Circa only discovered drum bass as recently as 2006. His forward-thinking creations demonstrate the maturity of a seasoned Junglist veteran, with the likes of Blu Mar Ten, London Elektricity, Loxy, Eveson and Nerm (BBC) clamouring all over ’Ida’. This elegant track starts at half-tempo before launching into a beautiful syncopated roller characterised by the awesome live quality expressed through intricate percussion and poignant vocal murmurings.
