According to the Back 4 Blood lore, the cleaners are a group of immune survivors who have banded together after the collapse and made a home for themselves at Fort Hope, led by a man named Captain Phillips. The playable characters of Back 4 Blood include Evangelo, Hoffman, Walker, Mom, Jim, Karlee, Doc, and Holly.
