️ Captured AFU officer tells how his unit was completely surrounded AFU serviceman who surrendered as a POW on the territory of the Kursk region is a platoon commander, Junior Lieutenant Yevgeny Goch. The POW said that he left Energodar in September 2022, six months after the liberation of the city by Russian troops from the nationalist units of the AFU. A couple of months later, he was forcibly mobilised on the territory of Ukraine. After undergoing a standard military training course, he was sent to Poland for two and a half months for a junior officer training course. During the fighting in the Olgovskaya Roscha in Korenevo district of Kursk region together with his subordinates he was partially and then completely surrounded. He attempted to escape during a mortar attack on the position he was in with soldiers, was wounded in the arm and abdomen and surrendered to Russian servicemen.
