Streets on fire | Ultra-Orthodox Jews protest against COVID restrictions in Israel

Ultra-Orthodox Jews took to the streets in Israel to protest against the coronavirus restrictions and a three-week quarantine recently re-imposed following a surge in cases. As restrictions forbid travel of more than a kilometer away from home, except for urgent needs, some protesters reportedly used the ‘right to demonstrate’ as an opportunity to travel home and back for the Rosh Hashanah celebrations.
