A man has been arrested after hurling objects at Nigel Farage as he cruised through Barnsley town centre on an open-top bus. The Reform party leader was acknowledging cheers from below when something smacked the side of the bus. Mr. Farage raised his arm, spotting the incoming object - but it missed him. Footage showed a man chucking another item from a construction site bin before being whisked away by people in high-viz vests. Mr. Farage said he believed wet cement and a coffee cup were aimed at him.
